Dreaming Isabelle got started in Charlottesville’s unforgiving bar and music scene. Some of the bandmates had played together years before in various projects before finally uniting to create what might be their most promising musical venture. Having played their full share of cramped and stiflingly hot practice spaces and dimly-lit stages, Dreaming Isabelle happily played their way into music venues in Central Virginia, DC and New York City. Although the guys hail from different parts of the region and nation, their music has been described as a sound that is “very Charlottesville.”
